Dayhome Spaces Available
I have spaces opening for your precious little ones. I’m located in Northwest Edmonton, Carlton/Oxford/Albany area, right close to Elizabeth Finch School. I have been running my private dayhome for the last 14yrs. Prior to my dayhome I was working as a nurse but with the hours and shift work it became too much, so I opened my dayhome. I’m married and have 3 boys(19, 14, 11).
Our days are filled with a routine. Everyday we do set amount of craft, writing, colouring, puzzles, play dough, sensor time. Followed by our reading, song/dance and exercise time. We have free play during the afternoon after snack. We will doing duck hatching this year, which the kids are looking forward too. The loved the chick hatching last year. I love watching the kids learn and grow. All children in my home are treated as my own within a safe and nurturing environment. I believe all kiddos should get lots of love, compassion, compliments while in home. I believe my home should be an extension of yours. I will stick to a routine for children who have one prior of the parent would like. I try to make everything an easy transition and adjustment for both parents and kiddos.
I provide breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. All meals are homemade and healthy to bring proper nutrition. I will provide supper if the little ones are staying later in the day. I will accommodate to allergies or special diets if needed.
We have party days on holidays. All kids get there special day to celebrate their birthday with all of us. We usually have a pizza/pyjama party once a month.
Throughout summer we do outings to the park, the lake nearby to feed our duck/geese friends. We take walks out to the spray park where we stay for lunch. I have a bouncy castle out in the summer months and spend lots of time outside doing bubbles and sidewalk chalk(given the weather permits).
My hours are flexible. I like to make it easier for parents looking for care, so I’m open with more hours.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more information.
Thank you
